KULA SANAYHA

I’m a guide and the creator of “Your Forgiveness Journey” — the steps to true forgiveness created to help women release the pain of the past and rediscover self-love. Kula means community. Sanayha means love. Together, they reflect my purpose — to live and lead with love, forgiveness, and gratitude. My journey has taught me that healing begins within, and when we return home to ourselves, we awaken the peace and joy that have always been there.

My role here is to guide you on the path of forgiveness, provide support when you get lost in the steps and to be your champion when you don’t want to keep going. You are here because you are ready to experience the power of true forgiveness!

If you’re here, chances are you’ve been searching for something — peace, healing, maybe a way to finally let go of the past. I know that search well, because it’s been the story of my life.

I grew up in a home where love was complicated.

My relationship with my mother was painful and confusing. I often felt unseen and unheard, and many of the decisions she made on my behalf left me feeling powerless. When she passed away, I expected grief to come. But instead, I was left with something far heavier. I realized I had never forgiven her.

I didn’t feel the sadness people expected. Instead, I felt guilt for not missing her, shame for the resentment I carried, and anger that the past could never be undone. I was stuck in a world of regret, replaying everything I wished had been different.

It was in that dark place that I had a breakthrough. I finally understood that forgiveness is an inside job. It wasn’t about her anymore, it was about me. I had to release the weight I was carrying if I ever wanted to move forward. That realization changed my life.

That moment became the seed of everything I now teach. But my journey home to myself began long before that. In 1979, I found myself with the Emissaries of Divine Light in Aldergrove. I felt something I had never known before — a sense of family, harmony, and peace. It was as if I had finally come home. Then I lived in the Emissaries in 100 Mile House, where I met Roz Hooper, my first angel. She taught me that even when we had differences of opinion, we were all accepted and deserved to be loved and heard. Those seven months changed everything. I had come from a childhood filled with confusion and pain, always searching for belonging and love.

Years later, after leaving a 27-year marriage in 2012, I stood at another crossroads. I was ready to rediscover who I truly was. Through Landmark Education courses, I experienced a profound awakening.

In one powerful moment, my entire life flashed before me like a movie on fast forward. I saw every moment when I had given my power away, every time I had lived as a victim. The emotions were overwhelming — shame, guilt, anger, sadness — and they gave way to empowerment, excitement, and determination.

That was the moment I chose to take responsibility for my life. I began to heal damaged relationships, beginning with my ex-husband. I called him to apologize for making him wrong for my life. I wasn’t trying to fix the past, but to free myself from it. He didn’t fully understand the reason for my call and that was okay. I had done what I needed to do for me.

Over the years that followed, life kept offering me opportunities to heal. One of the deepest came in 2017 when my mother passed away. I thought I had made peace with our past, but her death revealed that I was still holding anger. That realization opened another layer of forgiveness — not just for her, but for myself.

It was during this time that I discovered a new way of approaching healing — one that invited me to slow down, to contemplate rather than fix, and to see that every challenge held a hidden gift. I discovered that healing wasn’t something I could force or work my way through. It was something I needed to allow. It was already within me, just waiting to be embodied. I learned that peace comes from acceptance — from embracing both the light and the shadow within.

As I continued to live and breathe these teachings, I began to notice a quiet shift. The constant striving to “find happiness” softened into a deep contentment with where I am and what I have. I realized that happiness blossoms naturally when I live in alignment with my truth.

1. I forgive myself and others for all the wrongs done to me, and I take responsibility for my life

2. I am worthy of the best that love and life have to offer

3. The love that I seek begins with self-love

These truths became the foundation for my forgiveness courses — a place where I help others release the pain of the past, reconnect with their inner peace, and rediscover the love that has always been within them.

Looking back, I can see how every experience, every challenge, and every moment of grace was guiding me home to myself. From the darkness of confusion to the light of understanding, my journey has been one of awakening, forgiveness, and love.

Today, I live with an open heart, grateful for the path that shaped me and inspired me to help others heal their own hearts. My story is a reminder that no matter where we begin, peace and purpose are always waiting within us, ready to be discovered when we choose to listen.

With love, grace, and a little sparkle,

Kula Sanayha

P.S. I almost forgot to mention that I am also a fairy goddess mother and I believe that every woman deserves to have one. I’d be honoured to be yours. ❤️
